"In July, LANO and officials from the Unified Nonprofits of Greater New Orleans, a post-Katrina grassroots collaboration of nonprofits, will open Nonprofit Central, a one-stop shop housed in the old Handelman’s Department Store building on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard in Central City. It will provide office space, a boardroom, training rooms, computers and office equipment for displaced nonprofits."
